The Lancet Regional Health – Western Pacific is a Gold OA journal and part of The Lancet's global initiative to advocate for health-care quality and access in all regions of the world. The journal fosters the advance of clinical practice and health policy in the Western Pacific region, with the goal of improving health outcomes.
The journal publishes high-quality original research that illuminates clinical practice and health policy in the Western Pacific region. The Lancet Regional Health – Western Pacific also features relevant reviews, commentaries, and opinion pieces, pertaining to regional health topics, including but not limited to infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases, child and adolescent health, maternal and reproductive health, aging health, mental health, the health workforce and systems, and health policy.
