Nano Research Energy (NRE) is a peer-reviewed (single-blind), open-access and interdisciplinary journal, published quarterly by Tsinghua University Press, released exclusively on SciOpen. NRE publishes original high-quality research papers and significant review articles in an Open-Access form on cutting-edge advanced nanomaterials and nanotechnology for energy. It is dedicated to exploring various aspects of energy-related research that utilizes nanomaterials and nanotechnology, including but not limited to energy generation, conversion, storage, conservation, clean energy, etc. Scope: Topics covered in the journal include: solar energy, wind energy, wave energy, thermal energy, hydroelectricity, energy harvesting devices, fuel cells, hydrogen energy, bioenergy and biofuels, batteries, supercapacitors, electrocatalysis and photocatalysis, carbon capture and storage.
