Immunobiology is a broad-scope and inclusive Gold Open Access journal dedicated to publishing innovative research across a wide range of immunological subjects. Immunobiology aims to foster a comprehensive understanding of immunology by bridging the gap between scientists and clinicians. The journal publishes topics including: Innate and Adaptive Immunity Molecular Mechanisms, Including Normal and Pathological Functions of the Immune Response, Immune Cell Biology, Cytokines, and Soluble Mediators. Complement Biology, Pathology, and Therapeutics. Microbial Immunology and Immunopathology of Infectious Diseases (Bacterial, Viral and Parasitic) Cancer Immunology Neuroimmunology Immunogenetics Immunopathology of allergic and autoimmune diseases Vaccines and Immunotherapeutics Clinical Immunology Immunobiology does not accept submissions consisting mainly of (a) bioinformatics or computational analysis of public genomic or transcriptomic databases and (b) testing and evaluation of previously uncharacterized natural product-based drug candidates. Immunobiology does not accept reviews that are not by invitation. Founded in 1909 as the first-ever specialist immunology journal, Immunobiology has a rich history of contributing to the field. It aims to become the most inclusive journal for the dissemination of rigorous immunological research, supporting the global scientific community in advancing the field.
